Overseen by Bishop Reverend Vincent Ongoje, Reverend Joseph Ouko Ongany, and Pastor Tom Oluoch Amadi; Blessed Pentecostal Church is a ministry affiliated with Voice of Salvation Healing Church and is registered with the registrar of societies. Our aim is to spread the Gospel of Christ and to win souls for Him. We also exist to equip people spiritually, psychologically, socially, physically, and economically through Bible teachings, economic empowerment, guidance, educational skills, and medical care. With this in mind, we aim to make our members effective Christians who are self-reliant, responsible citizens.

PERSONAL STATEMENT OF FAITH FROM BISHOP REVEREND VINCENT ONGOJE

I was born into my family in the year of 1946 in Tanzania; later my family migrated back to Kenya after selling everything we had. We settled in Mariwa, Nyando District in the Nyanza Province in Kenya.

I was oppressed by Satan and was lost in his kingdom; I would serve him around the clock, not sparing a single minute to think of God. To me, God never actually existed. Our survival was completely from the sales of alcohol.

In April of one year, I had an encounter with the saving power of God through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. I decided to take Him into my life and from then on, Christ has remained my personal Saviour, filling me with the power of His Holy Spirit. I therefore believe that:

Jesus Christ is the Son of God

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life

Jesus Christ came in form of man, did die and was resurrected

Jesus Christ is the Saviour, through Healer and Sustainer in His second coming

The Bible is the true Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit

The Church in the body of Jesus Christ and anyone who believes in Him as Lord and Saviour is part of His Church
