Plan of Salvation

And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" Acts 16:30

Who needs salvation?

"There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:10-12, 23

Everyone needs salvation. Being good or doing good is not enough. We were born into sin, and therefore, everyone needs salvation.

Why do we need salvation?

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

We need salvation in order to make it to heaven and have eternal life.

How does God provide salvation?

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

God provides salvation for us through Jesus Christ, His Son.

How do we receive salvation?

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation... for whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:9-10, 13

We receive salvation by acknowledging that Jesus is Lord and inviting Him into our hearts.

What are the results of salvation?

"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1

"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." Romans 8:1

"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39

The results of salvation? Peace of mind. A divine connection to God. Constant communication with the Father. An eternity spent in heaven.
