Though every nation faces difficulties, India encounters many. With flooding being the most common natural disaster in the country, India is also frequented by other climactic disasters, such as cyclones, avalanches, tsunamis, earthquakes, summer dust storms, hail, drought, and torrential rains; affecting every aspect of daily life. Due to the severity of India's natural disasters, the harsh reality of hunger, poverty, and mortality are prevalent.

Since Alabaster's founding in the year of 2003, we have had a heart to send shipments overseas. We have sent three large shipments to India with a total of 182 containers filled with clothing, shoes, accessories, toiletries, non-perishable food, and much more; in order to bring individuals and families aid relief during such disastrous situations. We are looking forward to sending more shipments on a regular basis. However, at this time, we are unable to send any more shipments due to space limitations and lack of funds.
